A little bit of love sharing today as it is Valentine's Day after all! Thought I would skip all the sentimental and share the love for my current cleanser instead.
This is the wonderful Pai Camelia & Rose Gentle Hydrating Cleanser and I'm loving it soo much that it's disappearing fast!
I use this cleanser with the Pai Muslin Cloth and I find them the perfect combination! The cleanser is gentle but effective at really getting rid of all the grime and dirt on my face without leaving it dry or tight or too stripped. Similarly the muslin cloth provides the ideal amount of gentle exfoliation to help buff away any dead skin cells and smooth dry areas without leaving me sore or raw. I actually find it gentle enough to carefully wipe over my eye area too, although I shouldn't really!
For direct eye makeup removal I use this cleanser with a cotton pad or bundle of cotton wool and it just melts the makeup way. I've been playing around with a lot of different makeup products lately and so far this hasn't struggled with any of them yet! This cleanser is also very gentle on my eyes are i haven't experienced any discomfort or stinging at all!
The scent of this cleanser is actually quite reminiscent of lots of cleansers I have, which is no bad thing, its very fresh and cirtrusy, fragrant but not overpowering. The pump design gets a huge thumbs up from me. A full downwards pump provides the ideal amount of product but you can have more control by gently easing less out. And the way it seals the opening is juts genius and so hygienic and makes me feel like my product is juts going to stay fresher longer and better. Plus I don't have to worry that if the lid ever gets knocked off that the opening will get grimy because its sealed! Seriously all pump bottles should have this design!
This cleanser is perfect for sensitive skin as it is alcohol free and avoids a lot of inflammatory and drying essential oils like witch hazel which i find aren't great on my skin. Instead it is packed full of soothing vitamins and Omega 3s and shea butter and sweet almond oil.
This is one of my favourite pai products. Great review and photos x
