SoukSouk ~ January Beauty Box

17 January 2014

SoukSouk Beauty Box £10 +p&p *
This week I was extremely lucky enough to be contacted by the lovely people at SoukSouk who wanted to include me in the SoukSouk magazine for one of the months and to do an interview with me about my blog and my natural beauty life on their blog! This is so exciting and of course I jumped to do it!

Evan better was that they really kindly offered me a January beauty box to try, seeing as i've never had a SoukSouk box before (despite being very very tempted) I was thrilled to try it out!

This January box is packed full of great goodies and I'm pleased as punch over the samples in my box. Included in this box were Urban Veda, Pukka, Avril Nail Lacquer and Xenca.

    URBAN VEDA PURIFYING SET
Urban Veda have been on my radar for a long while since I came across them in the Natural Yearbook and Natural Health Magazine. Living in London and having moved from the countryside I am all too conscious of the extra pollution etc that my skin is subject to, so a line of skincare that caters for that is definitely a must try. Neem as an ingredient has long been a favourite also after I was taught about it from a beautiful Indian natural pharmacist. Neem is a must have in India and known to have many many benefits, so I can't wait to get testing these!
    AVRIL NAIL LACQUER
Avril mail polishes i have heard of before but not really looked into, so this will be a good introduction to the collection. I received the shade French Rose No.88 which is ideal as lately i'm definitely into the more soft and nude shades. This is a very sweet pastel pink that can look salmon in some lights.
   XENCA PERFECTION LIPSTICK
Xenca are another brand that i have recently come across and they have really intrigued me. This pretty lipstick is in the shade Candy, a soft matt pink with blue undertones (the photo makes it look darker than it is). In the stick the formula looks quite chalky but a quick swatch sees it apply as quite creamy and smooth, still matt but not dry looking. It's made with a bunch of oils like apricot so it should be quite moisturising.
   PUKKA DETOX TEA
A lovely little bonus, who doesn't love tea?! Aniseed, Fennel and Cardamon -an interesting blend!

I love this box of samples, what do you think?
