Yes To...Tomatoes! Trouble Free Facial Wash

Yes To Tomatoes Trouble Free Facial Wash -£8.99 100ml

Today's post is on one of my faves, Yes To.
For those of you that don't know about this range yet but love anything Natural, I suggest you quickly go and check them out. When I first came across Yes To my initial reaction was, 'Waiiit, what...carrots & tomatoes?! On my FACE?! Eww!' Then I looked into it a bit more and thought, 'Hmmm sounds interesting, sounds good!' So here we are many months later and I'm fretting about getting more in the post before I run out of my current stash (came through last week and I am now blissfully stocked with Tomatoey/Carroty goodness.)
Yes To is a Natural range of beauty products from cleansers to moisturisers and tinted lipbalms which harness the wholesome powers of organic Carrots, Tomatoes, Cucumber and Blueberries (as well as other natural ingredients) as a main in their products alongside Dead Sea Minerals.

Yes To Tomatoes Facial Wash is designed to purify and balance out Oily/Combination skin. Using this has certainly helped my oily patches but I would only advice people with this skin type to use it as it does leave your skin very squeaky clean after use which may not be so beneficial to those with dry or sensitive skin. My skin feels really fresh and super clean after use but I do occasionally  like to add a little moisturiser afterwards as sometimes I feel a little too oil free from this. The facial wash is lightly scented and although I can't quite put my finger on the exact smell, it is very pleasant and 'fresh' smelling. This wash also has a combination of watermelon and Rosemary in it which maybe lending it it's scent. The scent doesn't linger after washing so if you're not so keen then you wont have to smell it all day. The wash is a traditional gel like substance that lathers up nicely and a little goes a long way. It is faintly orange in colour but that doesn't transfer to the skin in the slightest! This is a good face wash and I continue to use it daily but personally I don't think it is the best of the Yes To products, I actually prefer the Carrot range of products (which I normally use) to this Tomato based one but it hasn't put me off trying the other tomato products in the range, I know I have tricky skin and everyday it will be a little bit different, overall the face wash is great. I'm just not in love with it as I am the Carrot Exfoliating Facial Cleanser (review to follow soon).

As said before this is definitely designed for Oily/Combination skin. The products are split into skin types. Tomatoes are for Oily (acne prone also)/Combination Skin, Carrots for Normal to Dry Skin and Hair, Cucumbers for Sensitive skin and Colour treated hair and the Blueberry range is targeting Mature or age damaged skin. So choose the range that best matches your skin/hair type. I will also be reviewing other products from the range in the future as I often mix and match between the types as my skin is very temperamental and frequently changes due to other factors.

The price is quite reasonable. The Tomatoes Facial wash costs £8.99 for 100ml and a little does go a long way so it does last quite a while even with daily use. The Yes To range is available from many natural beauty/cosmetics sites like Mypure.co.uk and traditional online stores such as Feelunique.com, Beautybay.com and Amazon.co.uk aswell as their own site yestocarrots.com

The Eco side: Yes To products are free from Parabens, SLS. Phthalates and Petroleum and all products are at least 95% natural. All of Yes To's packaging is recyclable and they don't test on animals (they have won 'best beauty brand' by PETA twice!) A portion of their sales goes to their 'Seed Fund' which is in aid of getting kids more connected with nature and a healthy lifestyle. Really a lovely wholesome company. Apparently their staff even have yoga days (according to website) ahha brilliant. I love yoga myself so this makes me really chuckle!
